Sitting just outside Cincinnati, Dry Run is a small suburban community. A census designated place (CDP), it is home to over 7,200 residents. It is one of the more desired communities in the area to live in, and it has a median household income of over $100,000 per household, which makes it one of the highest-earning areas in the Cincinnati suburbs. The town of Mt. Carmel sits to the east, with Newtown just to the north.
Dry Run is almost exclusively residential, featuring everything from developments to heavily-wooded single house properties. Most residents will head east to the Eastgate Mall, or make the half-hour drive into the city, for jobs and commercial needs. The distance is a small price to pay in order to live in such a beautiful area. At the north end of the area is Ivy Hills Country Club, with Little Miami Golf Center a little further north. Just north of town is Avoca Park, Bass Island Park, and the Little Miami River, some great opportunities for recreation in the warmer spring and summer months.
